This game includes the Inklings as new playable characters along with nine returning characters from the previous games (latter six included as DLC): Dry Bones, King Boo, Bowser Jr., Birdo, Petey Piranha, Wiggler, Kamek, and another two that have not yet been announced.

It's the enhanced reboot port of Mario Kart 8 and was released worldwide on April 28, 2017.
