It was ported to the GameCube a few months later. The game was first known to the world as the Nintendo 64 title Animal Forest on April 14, 2001. You play as a human living in a village of anthropomorphic animals while watching plants grow, catching fish or bugs, digging up fossils and, getting along with your neighbors. Nintendo is behind its development and distribution. Animal crossing is a social simulation game created by Katsuya Eguchi and Hisashi Nogami.
